IATSE Local 891 Scholarships

Each year, IATSE Local 891 grants 10 scholarships in the amount of $5000.00 per person, to financially assist members and their dependents that are pursuing a diploma or degree in post-secondary studies. The application deadline for the academic year Sept. 1, 2012 - Aug. 31, 2013, has passed.. The application form for the academic year, Sept. 1, 2013 - Aug. 31, 2014 will be posted here on November 30, 2012.

IATSE International Scholarships

IATSE International offers two annual scholarships funded by the Richard F. Walsh/Alfred W. Di Tolla/Harold Spivak Foundation in the amount of $1,750.00 per year/per person, totalling $7,000.00 over a four year period. These scholarships are open to the sons and daughters of members in good standing of IATSE and are a high school senior at the time of application. The deadline for filing all required material is December 31, of each year.  More information, here.

British Columbia Film + Media

The Daryl Duke & William Vince Scholarships, supporting the advanced education of BC filmmakers, are three scholarships in the amount of $10,000.00 each. They are awarded to BC filmmakers who are entering advanced education in film. The application deadline for the 2012-2013 year is May 14, 2012. More information may be found here.
