IATSE 891, under the direction of President Mitch Davies, worked with Aura Health to develop a custom safety data sheet (SDS) library for 891 Members through MySDS.ca.
MySDS.ca is an online database and safety data sheet (SDS) management tool that allows 891 Members to quickly access important safety information while on the jobsite. The searchable tool is accessible via their online web portal, on mobile or desktop.
All IATSE 891 Members will have access to the MySDS.ca database at any time, on any production. As production work is transient, with crews switching from one production to the next, the MySDS database serves as a consistent space to track safety data sheets and to access important safety information. The database also has a search feature, allowing Members to quickly and efficiently find information for key products on set.
Members are able to login to MySDS.ca on their desktop or mobile device using the below shared credentials. The library is a fully-searchable database, hosting a list of key safety data sheets relating to various chemicals and products.

We recommend all 891 Members familiarize themselves with the database by logging in with our credentials and reviewing the below introductory video.

The 891 MySDS.ca library has been updated in coordination with Aura Health to include many necessary products and associated safety data sheets. However, the shared library is a living product and will require ongoing additions to ensure that all necessary products and safety data sheets are available to our Members.
If you find there is a necessary product missing in the shared MySDS.ca library, Members should fill out this form with all product information and send via email to info@iatse.com with the Subject Line MySDS Product Addition. All new product requests will be managed by 891 staff through email at this time.
